I don't find issues with him like everyone else does. There are two items that counter him, I can stand behind minions and his Q becomes shit, I can bait his all in and he will lose his escape, his E does jack shit, and his execute is the only move that stands out to me as "strong". Blade of Draktharr isn't that cool either.

Zed's spells on their own are crap unless he's really fed. You have to use them in a combination to destroy your opponents.

I tried out item 3147 on MonkeyKing and with how long that cooldown is and the fact I had to sacrifices my item 3074 to build it, I can see why this Item is only going to work well on champs like Zed and Talon . So good news, Riot didn't make a DFG for AD champs, just a DFG for Zed like champs .__.
