yeah sounds, but every other assassin has built in skill that can serve as 'escape tools'

zed can ult and use his w, lb has 4 dashes, talon can either e and ult, akali can ult and use her shroud W, fizz can q and use e

katarina shunpo into an enemy and or she kills and continue to snowball the fight or she dies

Actually if she kills somebody she can just Shunpo to an ally, minion or ward and get away. Also if she's going to go in she is most likely going to ult,and can do shit tons of damage if not stopped

but the point i was trying to make is she has only one ability to gap close/escape and once she shunpo'd or she get a kill/assist or she is dead (i'm not counting flash or zhonya, i'm talking bout kit)

Yes lol I get that, she can shunpo in, get a kill and then shunpo out. Jax on the other hand can "shunpo " in.. then he kinda just stays in lol

She can shunpo to wards or allies or minions with a reset from either a kill or assist. She also has damage mitigation through shunpo. I'm not saying that she's as broken as zed. Although I am saying that she's not nearly as hard to play as you're making her out to be.

Her apocalyptically bad laning phase is usually what makes her hard, but you get your level 4 and 6 power spikes and use them effectively and you snowball harder than Frosty the Snowman playing Ice Hockey in the middle of a Siberian Blizzard.

depending on the teamcomp I go cinderhulk or runic (cinder for if I need to start fights for my team)

then stuff like rylais/abyssal/zhonyas and sometimes banshee's veil or randuins omen (for cinderhulk route)

chilling smite helps you a lot for your ganks, but the warding one is really good if the enemy jungler's early game is really gank heavy you can ward more for your lanes (and kat's jungle powerfarming is pretty decent once your jungle item is complete (there was a game where I didn't get a leash at the start and was able to keep up in farm with a shyvana))

i've tried playing her as jungler last season, too hard, maybe this season i'll try again with the addition of item 2032 , with akali i can not that bad in jungle and once i get 6 is when my gold spike begins, can gank lane after lane, taking camps on the way to refill and have a good sustain. in some games worked, when it just didnt i went cinderhulk and tankali carry u

i highly recommend against hunters potion on kat for two reasons, 1- you need the 3 health pots for more sustain in your first clear, and 2-once you finish your jungle item you clear camps without really taking any damage from them so it ends up just being a waste of gold

i actually cant finish jungle rotation without them (on akali i mean), i thought that hunter potion helps a lot those champs that arent common junglers

i'll try it out with health potion, but i'm skeptical

her W being a short cooldown AOE spell allows you to jungle clear really fast (past the 1st clear that's a bit rough but very doable)

once you finish your jungle item you have almost shyvana levels of clear speed, except for gromp/drag/baron due to your damage being mostly aoe

Yeah. The second level in her W gives her a lot of burst damage if you're against someone you're confident you can all-in. The QEW+Ignite is usually enough to take people from half health to 0 if you've been harassing with your Q like you should be. Plus it gives her better wave clear for the remainder of the laning phase.

Agreed, but you can tell a good Kat from a bad one when it comes to mechanics as well. Ward hopping and reset reflexes are huge.

I main Kat mid lane. And its not just a matter of pressing one button. You have to do full combo (Q,E,R,W) you also have to time it. If the enemy team is actually good they will just cc your combo and kill you. Learning the timing, and how to use resets can be a little difficult for new players. Obviously she is still rather simple to play though.
