Meddler: Zed: We've pulled the ult nerf from patch 6.11 after a lot of debate on the team as to how hard the Q changes will or won't hit Zed. Still sitting on it as an option for a later patch, we want to assess what impact those other changes have first though.

Just a note, not saying champs in first group didn't need nerfs or champs in second group do need them. Just find it funny how "slow, easy going, or cautious" they can be on certain champs vs dumping others in the trash at times.

this little things can have a big impact remeber the buff to pre-midseason veigar before worlds? q gave ap now also on assists rather only on kills what happend? well suddenly he was in a very good spot for a short time... also those 2 nerfs hit them in a special spot Zed couldnt split push so well anymore because his build usually dont offer that much attack speed with vayne it means less base ad overall and this means indirectly her q was nerfed aswell also the most used vayne build is almost totally focused on attack speed

Btw it is better to make small steps and see how it works out instead of maybe a rework or something

I still love that "Sejuani has had her time in the spotlight" quote from a Rioter. One patch, she was good. A lot of the champions in your second list have been king of their lanes from several patches before Riot decides to lovetap them.

If not that ult revert, it would be safe to call it a pretty reasonable change.

But then, they reverted the ult nerf, the only justification of the Q buffs.

wow the dmg is equal to 1 AA without on-hit effects the 5 bonus % would be better than 1 AA

That ult nerf was a step in the right direction mostly because it punished Zeds that suck ass even more than just the Q change. Currently Zed can still whoop people's asses without much effort, just R -> Q -> E -> AA, done. With less base damage on R and less damage on a single Q, that would be a pretty good set of changes, but alas, you can't have too much of good stuff.

Even look at new Swain and how decisively Riot's moving on his nerfs (which is great, I just wish they'd do the same for the Zed group too).

Said it before and I'll say it again: Riot undercosts mobility in kits, yet they always seem so afraid to actually nerf these mobile champs. It's not an "outplay" if I don't have the tools to punish you when you screw up. Mobile champs should be more dependent on (actual) outplay to succeed than they currently are, and the choice of mobility should come at the expense of raw power (or durability, utility, etc).

Picking the mobile champ should be a bet that you can outplay the other guy enough to cover your statistical weakness, but right now it's just guaranteed returns.

He has also been one of those champions that are Love/Hate with people like the others I listed. And those usually seem to be the Riot favorites as well. Some people love them and think they're fine/balanced (or like op (or "op") champions. While the others tend to hate them because they're "op" or just annoying to play vs. Ekko was never really gutted. He's been nerfed a few times but has stayed a strong or at the very least, a decent pick in one lane or the other for a good portion of his existence.

if you look at his buffs. and nerfs. you will understand. ekko buffs has all been simply lower cdr at the first early ability levels. and then same at later levels. his nerfs has been reduced utility and damage.

You know that overall all "solo-queue" champions got more nerfed than sej or sion You have to remeber how hard sej or sion were pushed Sion had like half a year almost every patch almost only buffs like increasing his q dmg base and scaling or reducing its mana cost only his e got nerfed because it was way too strong poke for a tank Sejuani got also almost only buffed since her rework look at zed for example his last buff was on his ult before that only nerfs btw do you remember that he got a little rework after his release?why?Because he was one of the worst champions in league only syndra was the worst yet with like 26% win rate

Yeah with sej however she was completely fine, then cinderhulk came out and made her super strong, an ITEM made her winrate skyrocket.

So they nerf sejuani multiple times, making her W impact do half the damage as it used to, then they nerfed the item she relied so heavily on making her winrate plummet.

People bring it up so much that riot finally said "look she was really op so now we're making her really weak and we're keeping her there a while so other junglers can shine."

Riot CLEARLY not playing favorites.
