What's with all the hate? You're looking down on someone for doing one of the only things they can which supports the company that runs this game.
Buying a cool skin isn't a statement that you're a bad ass player, it can mean any number of things really. I buy skins because they look cool, give the champ a different flavor and that's all really. I try to uphold a promise that I wont buy one unless I can reach full mastery with them but that's simply to make sure I don't waste money on a champ I'm not sure I like yet (If I can get them to level 5 I must like them or else I wouldn't play them. On got 2 up to level 5 so far but popped some mystery boxes and got some for champs I don't like :/)
It's kinda like a gift to a champ for being so fun imo. It's not someone saying that they're super good at the game, just them saying that they really like this champ.

Though I do own a certain (and very nice looking imho) Ultimate skin I didn't get it because I'm super ultra great at her. Its because I just liked it and like playing the champion. I like the different skins because they give your champion a completely different look and feel. Without giving you some kind of "pay to win" advantage. But that is just me.
If this same shit were posted by a certain another person it would be full of upvotes despite how shitty it is
