When I'm Tristana and build that, I feel like I'm trying to skin a potato... Takes a long while, too hard with their own CC to kite them and eventually once I kill him, his team mates follow up with 2 second damage.

If the Vayne is not a potato she should have no problems dealing with Sion, coming from a person whose friend is a Vayne main. Something like Jinx? Now that is a different story LOL summoner 31
