So a while back Riot said that they didn't want to delve into other genres/expansion of LOL. They said something along the lines of not wanting to create something that lets down their player base. LOL has a huge following and turning out something shoddy would cheapen their reputation . I feel like they did exactly that with this dumb board game. First off it cost $75, really riot, its a tabletop game that maybe cost $9 to make and you charging more than the price of a new release video game. Second, the game itself, is it bad ass champs, epic battles and cool game pieces... nope its yordles playing on stupid contraptions fighting minions. In my opinion they couldve created a really shitty single player campaign for lol, or a comic book, or a anime series, hell anyhing would be more worth the money than a board game

First of all, you clearly know nothing about board games. Second of all, you clearly know nothing about THIS board game. The components in Mechs vs Minions are incredibly high quality. Most good board games cost at least $50, but with the component quality of this game is literally $150+ worth. The board game community is HUGE, just because you like anime or comics does NOT mean that they are any better than board games. I enjoy both and completely support their decision to branch out into board games. By the way, this board game has been nominated for Boar Game of the Year, and has been praised highly by every single website reviewing it. Please realize that YOUR opinion is not fact and just because YOU don't like this game it doesn't mean it was a bad idea of Riot. Just don't buy the game and shut the fuck up. [slayer-jinx-wink]

actually this game has landed itself a top 25 spot on boardgamegeek.com....so it must not be half bad.
