Towing Question

Just a bit confused here. If green was moving up, could blue be towed in B or C?
If so, would blue immediately appear behind green?

Normal ball and hitch?
My friends and I played it like it is possible to tow someone to the side. So you start like (B) and green moves one space forward and bc of a 2-space-command which you need minimum for towing blue gets towed behind green like (A).

When figuring out movement, only the horizontal and vertical fields are considered adjacent. The towee always enters the field the tower just left. So A and B will work as long as you have the movement points to support it. C won't because blue is neither ajacent, nor can it enter the field green just left, since that would be a diagonal movement.
