Your weekly dose of server problem-os, NA League news, and other!

Flu season is here, avoid the plague (Morgageddon rolled a critical failure and was wiped out by pesky buggers). We followed through on our promise to roll back positional ranking, a high elo ranked reset is coming, and the love/hate train is focused on Riven. Q Q Q your way out of danger, stay awhile and listen, we’ve only got a few issues this last week.

Follow-Ups:

Mac voice still not working properly
Checking in on the issue from time to time for periodic updates

Server Stuff:

Third Party failure leads to login issues on NA (3/5, ~46 hours) A small number of players report login issues. Further investigation by PS shows a small, but increasing number of players who still couldn’t log in. Riot resources disable a third party tool, which allows the blocked players to log in.

Store API delays RP fulfillment (3/8, ~34 minutes) A delay in the store process causes RP fulfillment to be delayed. Investigation and fixing of an HTML error page fixes the issue.

**Game Stuff: **

Spike in Team builder errors cause Play button to grey out (3/12, ~33 minutes) Automated alerting notifies the NOC that Team Builder errors are spiking. Game starts dip low, and PS reports play button is graying out for various players. A reboot of the team builder service fixes the problem and players are able to play normally again.

Player Support Issues:

We’re seeing a minor spike in Client tickets (issues that pop up after you log in). Check to see if a full client repair and these extra steps might fix it. If not, please contact PS!

I had 5 straight dodges in a row where people didnt lock in. Then in the 6th game I got Dcd 3 different times and forced to dodge because I couldn't lock in. Any ideas? Also: my ping has jumped from 60 to 100 but has remained stable, and my friend's last years ranked banner has disappeared.

my ping has also jumped, it used to be about 60-70 2 years ago, then it became 90 like a year ago, and now 120 since a week ago.

had 3 different players dc for over 5 mins each after the remake time, our jg was the first then it was bot then mid, enemy team got 3 free towers 1 mid and 2 bot because of this, despite taking time out of lane phase to help the jg catch back up with a blue leash when he returned and a scuttle and a gromp as i was pushed into tower and they were slow pushing back to me, still didnt make much of a difference as i was the only lane ahead, and they were too far a head in cs and tower gold, comeback gold is fine and all but it doesnt do much good when players cant stay connected to the game to get the comeback gold in the first place. item 3151 Ive also noticed that my ping gets stuck sometimes, i will notice a lag spike ingame but the ping doesnt jump around at all it just gets stuck at 27 ping, but the frames drop as my only indicator from 120fps to like 60fps, today it seems worse, had 30ping jumped to over 600ping, luckily it wasnt hard stuck at 27 ping, still unsure as to what causes this glitch.

We'll add a brief summary of what's currently going on with Account Transfers on the 28th, and add it onto the Follow-Ups section so we can keep track of it.

We usually try to avoid talking about ongoing bugs just because so many things can change and we don't want to set incorrect expectations. But we'll try to keep y'all informed about account transfers and what's going on with em for this bug.

guys am i the only one that thinks riot games are waiting their hard work on the champions stories and could make a really great mmorpg? i bet u guys want it too lets gets this so the devs can see my post. Honnestly im even ready to pay like 200$ for the game x)

Hi I am having the bug which greys out my "PLAY" button and says "we aren't able to create lobby ". Sometimes I also lose my icon and friends list. I could make the client work if I keep re-openning and closing the clients for several times but it is still frustrating. I saw some suggestions about going into the location of the game RADS>projects>league client>releases>0.0.0.192 and open the clients.exe but seems still not fixing the problem. Are there any suggestions on how to fix this? BTW, full repair and re-downloading the game could not fix

How long has this been going on for? If a full repair or a fresh install isn't helping, then I would reach out to Player Support to see if there is anything they can find on their end. This will be a good place to start and see if there is a bigger issue at hand or if they are able to help you.

What part of spectate is broken? I'm able to spec friends and high ELO games off of the profile tab currently!
