Our team wanted to be a bit more transparent around server issues, as well as other information that the NA playerbase may want to hear about. This is 100% a work in progress, so feedback around what’s here, or what you might want to see, is highly appreciated!

Your weekly dose of server problem-os, NA League news, and other!

Happy New Year! More stuff that wasn’t really stuff but close enough happened this week. Neeko has some pinging bugs, still no bad server burps on NA, and some Your Shop offer issues, minor oops.

_Also, much as you may want it to be true, this team doesn't deal with gameplay balance at all. _

**Server Stuff: **

Personalized Offers not available to some players (12/30, ~6 hours). Ran out of write space on a DB, causing offers to not populate properly. Increased DB space and increased cleanup task rate to ensure the DB wouldn’t run out of space again
Personalized Offers incorrect and changing on players (12/31, ~19 hours). Regional promotion overwrote Your Shop, causing mismatched offers. Rewriting the regional offer with Your Shop fixed the issue, but affected players should still write in to Player Support

**Game Stuff: **

Player Support Trend:

If you did have Your Shop issues over the very end of December, it may be worth checking in with Player Support to ensure you didn’t lose out on anything!

I know this Isnt really the right place to put this but I feel like these posts have people that actually listen to all the complaints people have so, is the balance team going to follow up on their plans to lower the overall damage output of the game, are there any plans in the future for this or to make champions like enchanting supports and vanguards more popular again within botlane over the constant spam of DPS Mages?

The game is really starting to feel tiring at this point and I'm honestly at a point where I'm beginning to enjoy playing less and less.

This game is dogshit af, quiting to go play Heroes of the Storm, they actually listen to their community and Have a proper banning system in place that doesnt commit grand theft daily. Fuck you riot, incase you forgot.

Thank you for posting these breakdowns, I really enjoy reading them. Every time I visit the boards I start at the top to check for a new post, it's almost... exciting? to see all the stuff that Riot is doing behind the scenes on a daily basis (and all the issues they're fixing).

So the team on the boards isn’t the balance team but when you have an issue with the game riot support sends you here. So am I just to assume that riot just doesn’t care about the player base? Cause support says dev team is on here and you say they aren’t

why some of my friends get a normal ping and i got a fair ping which is not good but when i check it using the cdm thingy my ping for gaming was okay. is that the cause of your server? or my connection?

This fucking game is getting more trash tbh. I think the balance team does get paid enough or something. Every god damn time the patch is out there is something to get mad at. Now, Nasus jungle can get to 100 stacks and more at 5 minutes . Good job dog shit game.

Last month I had a game of noxus blitz where the estimated queue time is 20:00. I still got in game after around 1:47 though

I made a post of this in report a bug, but I don't think anyone saw it...

You guys, Mods are not the ones to blame, you pick up all the flame and get into arguments about stuff you have no control over.

Related to this post, it is bothersome Akali is for instance untargetable by towers.. thats just ridiculous, towers have supervision, right? Or try playing against it with oracle, you are dead before you get in the range - see these are just some of the issues of balancing that exist related to all the champions that are banned in 99% of matches, you know they are banned for a reason.

Runes are ok the way they are now, they just need some feeling related to progression. And the very summoner levels should grant progression/rewards as well since this way players will try to keep it civil and take care of their accounts(not spam new ones all the time).

Now unrelated to the post, this games report system is just bad, and i say that knowing you put systems in place to stop players from exploiting it, but im saying it is severely exploitable. Premades can still trigger others into saying 1 curse word, and spam report them for the lols, players can still afk by just doing random stuff but not helping the team( doing 0 enemy champ dmg), and people still feed by playing recklessly (ill throw a bunch of spells and feed afterwards hopefully i don't kill the enemy champ) and all in hopes of either annoying someone or making your team lose.

Beef up the damn banning system, cleanse the community and start giving a crap about the state of your game, thats the most important advice. I know this won't reach anyone important, but its nice to vent and make other players aware of the state the game is in.

EDIT( Maybe Riot actually abuses the fact when players get banned they must buy their Champion Skins and other stuff all over again, maybe that is why this game is still as toxic, interesting right? ) Gotta make a living somehow heh..
