[RESOLVED] 4/28 Continued Maintenance -- Ranked will be Disabled/Possible DC's

#UPDATE 3:12PM PDT:

We are fairly confident that these specific login issues should now be fully resolved. If you are still experiencing login issues, it may be completely unrelated. In this case, make sure to submit us a ticket so we can investigate further.

We appreciate everyones patience while we worked through this!


#UPDATE 1:13PM PDT:

After a lot of tinkering and changes, we believe that we have mostly resolved the login issues completely. If you are still not able to login at this point, continue to post your location (city/state) as well as your ISP here in this thread. We'll continue to have network engineers regularly checking the thread for players still having issues.

If you are now able to successfully login, please post your location (city/state) and your ISP. If you are still not able to login, make sure to also post your location and ISP. We are going to need to dig into some individual cases to make sure whether we have resolved this, or simply moved the issue somewhere else.

TLDR: We are doing another round of maintenance on the NA Servers to hopefully resolve the issues from 4/27.

Hey all,

The maintenance we performed on 4/27 was meant to patch several bugs on our back-end routing (No, not this, think bigger and more...mutated) with our platform/servers. While we finished the vast majority of the work on-time while most everyone was sleeping, we left a few un-patched devices to be completed in the near future. Unfortunately, while we were shifting around traffic as we worked on getting devices patched up, we actually triggered the very bug we were trying to resolve on the remaining un-patched devices. We attempted to get this resolved during the day, but the fix will required fairly in-depth work.

We’ve decided to perform another set of maintenance again on 4/28. Ranked will be disabled at 12:30AM PDT. Once all games finish and at 2:00AM PDT, we will deploy our fix and keep ranked disabled while we work. We’ll update everyone once we start getting our hands dirty.

So...By this time tomorrow those of us who use WoWway and CenturyLink will be able to hop in a game?

Do we get 2 free days of the first win xp boost, as we are going to miss out on a days worth. Potentially more if the server maintenance is half-assed again. [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Thanks for continuing to work on this problem, I'm in Minneapolis and for how much I love watching taric's hair I'd Just love to play the game!

So... I'm gunna say that maybe... just MAYBE you should stop doing Live maintenance? I mean I'm sure if youd have just shut down the servers at a said time instead of leaving it running and people on. this may have been avoided? I don't know... just seems like everything goes to hell in a hand basket when Live maintenance is being done.

So, we cant log into the game and this is all that has been said? Century Link users are just SOL? You could at least put a note on the launcher that says "We are aware of some log in issues with users with Century Link ISP, we are currently working on a fix" [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Since there has been no update, I think i'm safe to say that you guys aren't doing much of anything about this right now. I get things happen and I'm very understanding, but some of us are patiently waiting, and an update of some sort would be great. I just spent $35 on skins on Tuesday and I'm still not able to even see what they look like in game... please let us know what is going on.

gotta report this as spam cuz i just got back from my ticket and riot isnt doing anything about it, im sure they dont care. for few reasons 1 they said it was on my end 2 never started until they went up for maintenance im getting the run around by riot they just need to make a whole new client if you ask me takes time yes i know but still this is getting dumb i even posted my trace and dxdiag and they say it my end was working 1 day ago before you had to mess with w,e you guys are doing riot so i have the right to be mad summoner 14 Brand sorry for being rude but i never had this much problems with a game before. and from all the video on youtube and in your support stuff seem like you guy just need to remake or fix the client and add a anit hacking/script patch this could be happening cuz of it never know could be one of the guy did drop somthing on the computer hard borad or added a code they didnt need and so on just saying this game has been getting alot of client based problems or problems period :/ would be nice to think of somthing to add it in one big folder and anit hack shield or bugs ,also so that when you wana repair your game that it wont take off the item sets or masteries. :D

I will say despite being able to log in my ping is 35ms higher than previous and I keep experiencing these horrible lag spikes that I never had before. Not sure if its related but I figure I should pass that on.

I have noticed though I didn't get an extra days worth of bonus first game bonus XP I missed out on. Also, didn't receive a free chest, key shard, or anything else for my troubles. Bad showing Riot, bad showing.
