Make Soraka a Summoner

This idea I had came to me yesterday. I was thinking about this in another thread about how Soraka reminds me a little of a Final Fantasy Summoner. So I ask, why not make her a summoner that heals?

I mean she is the star caller, so maybe she can call (summon) starry pets?

So I'd make it work like Zyra's W and sona's passive. So maybe her AB can summon up to one of 4 types of Pets depending on the last skill use used when you cast it on an enemy.

Sources are: Pet 1 - from starcall Pet 2 - AB was the last thing you used or you haven't cast any other spells in the last 30 seconds. Pet 3 - from Infuse Pet 4 - from wish

So pet 1 could be an AoE DD or AoE debuffer. Pet 2 would give a small AoE healing aura and a small armor buff, have gives a targeted heal every 3 seconds to the weakest champion near it. Pet 3 would be a ranged poke pet that prefers to target champs over minions. Pet 4 would be a healer or have aspects of all 3 other types of pets, it'd probably last longer and be stronger too.

If we moved the heal from soraka directly to a pet with an AoE aura, that lends itself to more interaction from the other team: kill the pet remove the heal. Sure over time the pet will put out a lot more healing than But I'd also give her a weak passive AoE heal whenever she uses another spell, as she'll need some direct control over healing.

Soraka as a pet summoner would also give her more meaningful decisions on how and when to use her W. Since the heal would be the default nature of the summon, or a powerful heal pet when she ults, it'll still fulfill her healer fantasy but in a more mage like aspect. Solo lane/jungle Soraka would also be benefitted by being able to call in clearing ability, poke potential, or uber astral healer as needed.

I'd also keep her Starcall lowering the CD on her Astral blessing and work the pets power around that.

Yes I know this would be a big departure for Soraka. This would probably make her a more difficult champ to use well as she'd have more to juggle. But she might more interesting and rewarding for everyone.

Even if this can't be done on Soraka, I'd love to see a champ like this (zyra's plants don't count, it has to be mobile pets).
