Don't rename Twitch's ultimate

Notice: Do not take the agitation of my post as anything other than passion for Twitch. I adore the rework overall, but the name changes are misguided. Details are below.

The name change doesn't make sense.

@Ququroon

"We've made changes to two of Twitch's abilities names, to have them make a little more sense to what the gameplay actually is. Expunge has been changed to Contaminate. The previous name indicated that the poison was removed, but this hasn't been true since the gameplay update that came out a while ago. Spray and Pray, an iconic name, has been changed to Rat-ta-tat-tat. We felt that for Twitch's R, he maintains more of an "Aim and Shoot" gameplay, rather than a really frantic ability that can miss, ala Spray and Pray."

Okay, so you're argument for altering the name of expunge makes sense, but the choice of name change does not. Contamination happens from poison flask, or as a name for Twitch's passive. The poison is the contamination, and the target is poisoned. A significantly better name would be "Fester" which indicate Twitch causes the the existing contamination to worsen. (I'm not a fan of Fester, but it suffices to make my point.) Hell, I'd like to reuse the old ability name "Debilitating poison" over "contaminate."

Secondly, Twitch's ultimate CAN miss. If you walk to the left, even the person Twitch is actually aiming for can dodge the attack. I am fine with this and it requires Twitch players to force their opponent into bad positions or accept his damage. Their choice becomes run away or eat damage to stay where they are. Alternatively, Twitch's ult can take advantage of an allies cc. But the new ultimate name (which is terrible by the way) makes no sense for a pun that is complete in dissonance with his no voice over. He even has lines referencing that his ult can miss:

"Aim, then shoot. Aim, then shoot." "Shooting's easy . . . aiming's hard."

Why rename an ability that makes sense (which goes against your reason to rename expunge) for a pun that doesn't make any sense except for maybe his gangster skin.

Finally: Twitch's medieval skin is required (by whatever binding Riot wants to have to the players who made the skin) the Fleur-de-Lis on his back. Unless this has been changed, I did not see one anywhere on his coat. Could we get a fix on this?

Spray and Pray is an iconic name for his ability and does feel like a 'spray and pray' type ability given the rapidity of the attack and the fact that it can actually miss. Ratatatata is a very dull name and doesn't really tell you what the spell does, I hope they revert the name change.

I'm indifferent over the other name change as neither name really fits the spell imo.

His ultimate is an attack speed boost + area of effect modifier for auto attacks. How can it miss the target you are right-clicking on?

"Spray and Pray" sounds like it would be something that resembles Miss Fortune's ultimate more than Twitch's.

The whole "spray" makes it sound really dirty, like urine spray or something, so I always thought of it as a double-meaning.

Also, just to clarify, Twitch's ult can completely miss? I mean I know it can potentially miss those secondary targets, but the main person he aims for? Is it akin to a Lucian Q?

Glad I'm not alone here.
