Runaan's Hurricane SLOWS attack speed (at least on Thresh)

I posted this before a long time ago, but I think it was on the old forums. Runaan's Hurricane, if there is more than 1 target on the screen, actually slows Thresh's attack speed. I don't know if it has the same effect on other champions, but the way it works is as follows:

Single target in range: Attack speed is fast
Multiple targets in range (so extra arrows proc): Attack speed is sloooow

It is not just a small difference. It is a huge difference. Like 50% or even double the attack speed.

Thresh has different attack animations for different ranges.

It's likely that with multiple targets nearby, one of them is close enough to trigger his melee range attack causing runaans ranged only modifier to kick in.

No, all targets can be at max range. A perfect example is if you are attacking an inhibitor or turret when minions approach. Once they are in range, your attack slows.

edit: I also want to point out that Runaan's always "works" -- the bolts always shoot. It is just that his attack speed is really incredibly shot when the bonus arrows are being fired.

Thresh <- def. needs runaan's, those multiple chain attacks OP !!!

any good sololane thresh would consider it, as it procs his E onhit on each target(1 dmg per soul), wich is between 100 and 200 magical dmg later on, combined with a wits end wich shreds mr and deals even more dmg on each of those 3 targets and a frozenmallet to slow those targets, Thresh could be realy scarry if it was not for the slowmo attacks with runaans on him.
