Tryndamere and Skill

So I was in a game and the whole match was basically: Trynd farmed the jungle most of the early game, and late game with Morg he was an unkillable, un-CCable, 3 shot-er who could get way more than 3 shots off if Morg Q'd you. (Yaknow that'd be a great team comp, centering around Trynd and having everyone have a way to protect him/hold enemies down) In the post game lobby I calmly said basically what I just said up there. Then Morg started being all argumentative and told me if he's so easy to try him myself, bitch. But as I thought about, Trynd can be kinda hard to play (especially top early for me at least, in the jungle he just farms until he 3 shots you and can't really be shut down, preying on squishies and staying out of a tank's lane) and I didn't think it was very fair. So I ended up friending the guy, apologizing, we're cool now. :D

But really my question is: Do you think that Tryndamere, especially in the jungle, requires skill?

You have to think of Tryndamere as a ticking time bomb. He is going to be unstoppable end game unless you defuse him early or win the game (or unless you have lots of hard cc.) Many of the carry junglers have a similar curve. If you leave him alone to farm, the game will likely go well for him and often seem easy. If you keep deep wards in his jungle and harass and take his camps early he will likely struggle. His power curve will be pushed out significantly, giving you more time to win.

He has a good escape, but only 1 cc that is somewhat dependent on the enemy. It is definitely not reliable. Being a good jungler requires skill. While his kit is not mechanically intense, you have to be keenly aware of how much damage you can dish out and take until his ULT is available. You have to understand how to maximize your auto attacks while knowing the best time to use his abilities. It is all really dependent on what you consider skill to be?
