[Idea] A Way to Restart the Client With No Penalty

Sometimes I get dropped from games, and it wont let me back in. The only way to fix it would be to completely restart the client. Could there be a button for this that auto restarts the client and immediately puts you back in the game? Not only would it slightly shorten the time before you can actually get in, it would also not penalize people who are trying to actually play the game by dropping them from their series' or whatever just because of something that isn't their fault.

Speaking of, why does it kick you when you've been afk too long? It's like "Ok i randomly had to do something that in know way is predictable and is also very rare (like having your parents randomly ask you to help do something outside or something) but now I'm finally back and ready to help my team. Oh wait I have to wait a few very precious minutes because the game is making me quit and then reload the entire game. Oh my team lost a teamfight in the time that i was there but had to reload because of Riot. Thanks for making their game even worse when i already feel bad, Riot."

I made a thread like a year ago on RoG, here is the jist of it:

*It really bugs me, if a jungler dc-s from loading screed, and can only reconnect after 1:30, his jungle is pretty much lost. Or a laner getting behind even one lvl can mean first blood, but if you come back as lvl 1 against a lvl 4-5 opponeit, you will be either denied really hard, or plainly feed. *

What i was thinking about is, if someone disconnects, the game automatically pauses for maximum five minutes. This can only occur once per game for one player, and if more than one disconnects, their time does not stack. If the number of players is uneven at the end of the 5 minutes (if the guy comes back the game ofc goes on), and the game is before the 10 minute mark, the team with less players gets an automatic surrender vote. If they surrender, they get a loss prevented, and the disconnected player gets an automated tribunal case with a new offense, "abusing loss prevented system". If the guy could not even connect, or dced when the game was 1-1, then it's obvious he was not trying to trick the system. But if it's 0-5, it is a very real posibility.

The thing is, i have a slow pc, so it takes me like 3 minutes to load in, plus the time the game crashes, and the re-login, since it bugs, and can't reconnect immediaetly. That's around 4-5 minutes in the game when i get back. (most of the time i crash during load-in)

The timeout is a really annoying thing when you have a slow pc (i got a new rig a few months ago, but before that), a DC is 50-50, you either get back in time, or fall into a cycle of reconnecting, just to find yourself thrown off the server for being idle.

While i admit, this seems like a small issue, it is really annoying when you are in promotion, and someone goes AFK. Of course in normals AFKs are still annoying, but it's like "whatever, it's a normal game, I'm just here to have some fun". Sadly when some ranked games are artificially more important than others, so it gets fustration to a whole new level when something technical happens in THAT particular game.

There is more than one occasion that i have had trouble connecting to a game, i finally connect, and get a game crash due to inactivity.

My computer is slow enough as it is, and the 3+ minutes it takes me to get back ingame again is punishing.

I must comment that League is a game that REQUIRES that you play for roughly 30-45 minutes straight without interruption. This isn't a WOW raid where if you AFK your team loses one of it's 30 members. You're one of 5. That's 20% of a team. If you can't dedicate 30-45 minutes of your time, uninterrupted, then you shouldn't be playing League. If you can't tell your parents that you're in a game and will be available in 20 minutes, then you shouldn't be playing League. If it really is a rare event, then you should just not bother reconnecting, and let your team lose faster. It'll be less painful for them, since they're probably going to lose anyways, and the "once in a blue moon" AFK won't effect your account too harshly.
