WTF is up with people and their uncontrollable desire to engage in lane and their "MUST HAVE KILLS"?

Ofc my guess is that this must be a low ELO thing but why is it that if people aren't actively "poking/engaging" their opponent's in lane they automatically assume they're doing bad!?

Too many times where I've seen the following:

  • People haven't gotten kills so "OH THEY'RE DOING BAD LETS GIVE THE JUNGLER CRAP!" ...
  • Jungler gets ganked in his jungle and NO ONE helps him and yet they blame HIM for feeding. lol...
  • People focus on poking and not on farming CS
  • People who JUST died vs their opponent run back in lane STRAIGHT back to the person and engage them again as if "this time" they will be more successful... AAAND end up dying again...
  • I just had game where the score was 2 - 5 (my team had 2) and someone said "We need AT LEAST 3 more kills...) --WHY>?!

Its cause when they feel like they're losing, they feel need to "catch up" in kills and power, so they panic and rush things so they end up feeding and throw the blame on other people so they don't get bashed or flamed for it. I can say this from experience on the panicing side and wanting to re-take my lane so i rush into things with out thinking.

And for the people who'd rather poke than farm CS, they feel like if they constantly harass their opponent they'll get something out of it :P but in the end they end up with no mana, no items, and losing their lane. But on the jungler aspect, when a jungler gets ganked in their jungle, a ward wuold've saved them a little trouble and helped prevent that but i do understand if it happens early game and its a 1v5 issue then yes, the rest of the team should try to help him.

I can definently say from experience, running into those bad team members that end up making those stupid decisions and mistakes which ruin games cause they throw blame around and flame everybody, but you just gotta try your best to work around their flaws with the rest of your team and push to victory :)

I blame CoD, Halo, and everyother game where kills win matches. The worst one of all is WoW BG's. Warsong Gultch, CTF varient, cap flag to win. Caps 1 flag then camps enemy spawn for alot of honor, ends up losing game. Honestly its really dumb that people dont realize an objective based game when they see it.
