Riot, GP being disabled is getting old and apparently I can't be upset about it...

It's been 3 days now (where I'm at) that I've not been able to play GP because of this "Lore" event. I have my reservations towards this actually happening but what gets me the most is that people find it "unreasonable" for us GP players to be Upset about it. We understand there's about 125+ more champions we can play, we really do understand that, but we want to play GP. I don't know what's so hard to understand about that nor do I understand why it's wrong for us to be upset about it.

I want my oranges, I want it to be K.

E: Riot if it's legitimately due to the bug, can you plainly state so and quit beating around the bush? This is griefing :\

Hey Keg Master GP, you have every right to be upset about it. MF blew him off the face of Runeterra! There's no bug. GP is dead.

Edit: To clarify I honestly think you have the right to be upset about it. I was not being facetious. He hasn't been disabled due to a bug, he has been disabled because in the live event he is dead.

Edit: Just fixing this now that I am educated on the real issue (I wasn't previously) that GP is actually disabled due to a bug, and not lore reasons. Riot just isn't making that very clear.

chill dude, Gangplank is bugged- it has nothing to do with lore... Riot just decided to announce "Gangplank is disabled due to a bug" in a more fun and creative way especially since it is during the Bilgewater event

Do you have no other champion you could play? Are you that worried that we won't be back?

This is an exciting time, and I am excited to see where this takes GP, or any of my other mains if this happened to them. We have the advantage of meta knowledge that GP will be back, how is the fun part.

The one thing that Riot could have done is not disabled GP for ranked, thought it has been a great way to get people back into the lore who thought it was gone, or it didn't matter anymore. By complaining about it, it draws everyone in and starts talking about the lore again. I guess in that way you have done your part.
