Remove every single champion's passives.

Talon's passive is removed. E is change to only a silence and gapcloser.

New passive: Whenever Talon E's to a target, damage is increased by a percentage.

Remove Tryndamere's passive. Trynda no longer gains max fury from his ult.

New passive: Whenever Tryndamere ults, he gets max fury.

Remove Kha'Zix passive. Kha's ult no longer gives him a speed boost.

New passive: Whenever Kha ults, he gets a speed boost.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

Why is Jayce's passive DIRECTLY TIED to his ult?

An ability that is supposed to be passive, that only works when another ability is used is NOT A PASSIVE. It feels like it's supposed to be on his ult already, but was for some reason taken out and replaced his passive, which did not need to happen.

Remove stealth from Talon's ult. Remove Talon's passive. Talon's new passive: Whenever Talon ults, he gets stealth.

What is the logic behind this? And when can Jayce have an actual passive?

Xyph I hope you're thinking about this...(Also bring his Gate cooldown back down in later levels please :D)

But passives that work on their own AND work together with skills are still OK, right ?

Giving Jayce a real passive would be impossible: he lacks nothing. Wait, maybe we could give him an invincibility passive! He doesn't have that!

Because he doesn't need the power that would come from a real passive like the champions you mentioned. He's already a strong pick -- why are you complaining about giving him more power?

Gragas and Riven say your argument is poorly worded.

What about Karma? Her passive is tied directly to her ultimate and -- like Jayce -- she gets her ultimate at level 1!

Jayce's passive and ultimate ability are tied because that is how the champion was designed. He's not supposed to just stay in one stance, he's supposed to switch back and forth as necessary; his passive rewards him for doing so.
