If they go through with the CDR Boot nerf...

Yea, i really dislike the changes aswell. It´s already hard to find viable CDR-Options on many Champions and now they nerf the boots on top of it.

I would like to just remind you guys that these changes are tentative and xyph is planning to figure out a way to add in the lost 5% somewhere else. To quote:

We want some cheap boot options, especially cheap boot options that would be useful for supportive roles. We'll have to figure out the dangling 5% CDR problem somehow - perhaps we can add 5% CDR to some niche items.

take off mana on Wota and put it there.... it would REALLY help vlad who has gotten a ton of itemization nerfs lately.... 5% on frostfang support item maybe? maybe a couple others but I really hope they do it on WotA..... I hate even THINKING about not being able to effeciently hit cdr cap on vlad :(

You don't need to max out cdr. Yes, cdr gets better the more you have, but you don't need to go all ocd on us. There are plenty of times I go 35 cdr in a support build instead of 40 cdr. Hell, sometimes I only go 20.

And before people say, "you'll regret it because you'll miss your combo by 0.1 seconds and die."

Yes, just like how I COULD have lived if I had 26 hp, I could have gotten the kill if I had AAed the enemy just one more time 0.05 seconds faster, and I could have gotten that tower and retreated to safety if I were moving 5 MS faster.

There are tradeoffs. 40 is just an arbitrary number. Don't get so caught up in trying to maximize cdr. Just know your options and pick the best for the situation.
