My cursor was inside the bush. I've only noticed this happening since the bush changes and I've rarely seen others miss before the bush changes but now I see it WAY more often.

What happened? Why did a bush change cause this?

If you look at your cursor before you click ward, it will be green if it's in the bush and blue if not. It's a good way to check which side of the edge you'll be on.
