i just dont get why it was introduced in the first place. it was pretty obvious that we needed to buff the SS we already had instead of introducing another one making summoner spell diversity nonexistent for the ADC role
is there any plan to remove this spell for season 4? it just has no reason to be here

Stealthiness2 votesAt the start of the season, it was a significant choice for ADC's to take ignite, barrier or cleanse. The meta has since decided that barrier is better for ADC's, except sometimes when cleanse outweighs it. I think with some tweaks all three could be valid choices.
Tiara Azmalan1 votesYes, this is the correct interaction we should be looking at. Heal was never intended for ADCs and as I said should not be considered to be in direct competition with Barrier in most cases. I would also add Ghost to this list, but I'm a psycho who thinks Flash is overrated.

In an ideal world, barrier > ignite, ignite > heal, and heal > barrier. Unfortunately barrier is just too good a defensive spell, and so the interaction between heal and barrier never actually happened.
yamimosh1 votesand i agree completely, but it was decided very early in the season that barrier was going to become dominant. why did riot just let this happen again. its what happened with flash.
Tiara Azmalan1 votesNot all spells need to be constantly viable for all roles. Barrier and heal have very different uses in very different situations. Just because theyre both defensive HP modifiers do not make the mistake of thinking that they are in direct competition with one another.
