[POSSIBLE BUG] Fiora blinds herself as part of her combo.

Dear Riot,

I've been playing a lot of Fiora lately - I notice that occasionally, I saw "Miss" in my auto attacks.

I was baffled; there was no one with blind in the game.

After much testing, I have replicated it assuredly. This occurs when you use Ravenous Hydra and Burst of Speed within a short vicinity of each other.

I miss creeps sometimes with this when trying to blow through a wave with tiamat.

For brevity : There is a way for Fiora to 'miss' with her auto attacks, despite not being blinded. Is this intended?

(Hydra -> BoS, not other way around. The 'Miss' will appear, and I believe it is a huge DPS loss, as you miss the first auto of BoS)

I went ahead and downvoted you because in your final jerk move (of many), you deleted me from your friend list in-game. That and your post makes no sense. Go through and edit it. Like wow. You copied and pasted the same sentence twice for no reason (below):

Appears to be a bug, but it could be intended. I mean, it is a lot of burst damage from a light fighter.

I cannot wait for her rework. As of right now, she's mechanically and thematically broken.

Thematically broken? How so?

I mean she's not the strongest in theme, but she's definitely better than a lot of other champs. She's the "Grand Duelist" and she has a parry move and is decently mobile (dodging and striking like you would with fencing). It seems like theme was not the thing they missed with her. More like overall kit balancing and viability.

Multiple fencers that play League of Legends can attest to this. For a "Grand Duelist", Fiora really isn't much about dueling at all. Her passive does not fit the bill for a dueler. Her Riposte is good, but does not play well into the kit. Summoner Fioret stated this:
"Brainstormed Idea: Imagine if successfully Riposting an attack blocked on-hits, and gave her a lunge stack. Then, she could lunge onto her target (Twice, usually only once without Riposte) and within 4 seconds she could reactivate Riposte to flip off her target and disengage, landing in the same spot she lunged from, with a distance limit (Like Lee Sin's Q2 Gap Closer)." That is what Fiora needs. Something that flows well with the kit and theme.
Her Burst of Speed is another mediocre themed ability that gives her free stats. Her ultimate... When does a duelist jump into the air and strike multiple people without being seen? A "duelist" should not have a multi-target ultimate. Maybe if she lunged toward a target dealing damage to each enemy she passed then performed her ult on one target, it may work. But the launch onto multiple targets for a duelist does not make much sense thematically.

Fiora seems to me like a rushed champion who's abilities and play style do not match that of a true duelist's. It's a hodgepodge of abilities that make no sense on a "Grand Duelist" and do not flow well together.

I always interpreted her ult as "dancing around the battlefield, not getting hit and striking without leaving an opening." But you bring some fair points. I've never liked the "press a button and get free stats" idea on ANYONE (can't think of a single theme this works with). And Riposte is close, but as you mentioned, it could be better.

You do raise a good point on the Blade Waltz. But dancing on the battlefield in an epic sort of way does not translate to the fields where she just goes in and out in a split second. It's just Fiora could be so much more!
