I think if Barrier just got a straight buff to the shield values, it'd accomplish more or less the same thing as adding resistances. What I think is just flat out strange is that Heal actually restores more HP than Barrier shields at lvl 18. It heals two people, gives a movement speed boost, and is all around more effective late game. Barrier is supposed to be a super strong single person situational shield, and it does basically a worse job at this than Heal does. I think they need to either nerf Heal's late game value, or buff Barrier overall before doing anything else.
