Any ideas for a new item that would need both as a recipe?
I'm thinking Aether Wisp + Forbidden Idol + Blasting Wand + 340 gp

Part of the goal of creating those two items is so that they can be used as building blocks for future recipes. I am pretty confident we'll see additional items build out of them in the future. I'm not sure they both need to be fused into the same item (such as the one you're suggestion) but there is certainly a lot of room still to expand and grow the item system. You'll see us continuing to make adjustments in the future.
I'm not sure if an item like this would be appropriate for an AP item. I think it would be more appropriate as a tank item, although even as a tank item I'm not sure if it would be healthy.
I do like the name of the item though.
