Nidalee's Spear needs to be nerfed. Or nothing good will come of any changes that happen to her.

You Absolutely have to nerf her spear. Absolutely have to. If you don't, the rework/balance patch/adjustments or whatever you choose to call it, will be a failure. When it's all said and done, the most annoying aspect about Nidalee IS her spear. It simply does too much damage in a variety of ways.

1). It has a low cooldown. So it can be used constantly. 2). It doesn't cost much mana. In combination with it's low cooldown, it makes it easy to spam the spears. 3). It has a really far range. She applys a lot pressure from 1500 range, combined with low cooldown and low mana cost for its impact, it's crazy. 4). It does too much damage. Combined with points 1, 2 and 3, it just pushes this over the top. Her Spear does more damage than most ultimates will do. And it's NOT her only damage ability. It's just the only damage ability she can use safely.

The only weaknesses her spear has is 1). It travels slower than some skillshots. This is offset by it's spammability. 2). It hits the very first non-friendly hitbox it encounters. Again. Offset by it's spammability.

Fact. If nidalee didn't have Cougar form, she would still be absurdly powerful just because of her Spears. Her Heal and her Traps are just icing on the cake. Her Cougar Form makes it so it's super hard to catch her and gives her the ability to position easier.

But her problem will always extend from her Spear. If her Spear isn't adjusted severely, she will ALWAYS be a problem.

Morello. Statikk. Please. Do not overlook the spear. Do not think it offers compelling gameplay, because it doesn't (And I say this because for some reason you think Renekton is an "interesting top laner". When you guys say this, I have to severely doubt your judgement on all things related to balance. Renekton is NOT interesting. He's a binary lane-bully with INFINITE sustain because he lacks a finite resource to use his abilities off of).

Nerf Nidalee's Spear. It has to be done. This needs to be your top priority concerning nidalee. IF you don't do this, everything you do with her will be a failure. You need to realize this. I know I'm not alone in this thinking. Her Spear is frustrating. Landing ONE spear shouldn't send you back to base unless it has a 15-20 second cooldown or if it costed a bajillion mana.
