[Ranked Discussion] Matching series players with other series players
##The Problem
So I was playing a game the other day, and one of my teammates immediately said "I'm in my series, let's win this one" when the game started. Fair enough, you're letting your teammates know you're in it to win it.
But.
Hypothetically, if you were a troll, what would you do in this situation? Would you try to help that person win, or would you troll even harder to get more bang for your buck? A person in their series is going to be a lot more pissed off if they lose because of a troll than someone in a regular game (by regular I mean ranked but not series).
##The Solution
If you're in your series, up for promotion, you've worked hard to get here, do you want trolls on your team? NO. Nobody does, but they're especially irritating when you're in your series. I propose that:
####Summoners who are in their series and join ranked solo queue get teamed with other players from their rank who are in a promotional series.
Obviously an issue arises when a player wants to play with his or her friends who are not up for promotion, but doing that does reduce the chances of getting a troll on your team.
This idea would be limited to the solo queue (as I see it), so that people who are trying to grind their way out of bronze 5 (Hi, I'm Rubitonabuilding, I've been playing ranked for almost 2 years now and I'm still b5) have half a chance of winning 2 of 3 promotional series games.
I just think that it would be nice if when you finally get to a series and have a chance to escape elo hell, everyone on your team is in the same boat, in it to win it.
Please discuss. Drawbacks, limitations, advantages, disadvantages, pros, cons, etc.
