Aggressive Champions, Which are the best?

Crowe Stalker·11/19/2013, 7:59:21 PM·4 votes·1,254 views

Hello, I'm level 19, hoping to reach level 20 by the end of the day, and I'm hitting a snag, hard... I'm playing as usual, and having a bad day, a REALLY bad day, and I've decided I need a new champion.

Now, I have to say i use Eternum Nocturne , I like him, and if I'm patient, I can get some really good dives, but he doesn't have anywhere near the survivability for my aggressive playstyle. I know Assassins aren't supposed to be played aggressive, and I do keep that in mind, but at times, I really do feel the need to dive hard.

I'm looking at Mordekaiser, and I'm REALLY liking what I'm seeing, particularly the fact he's Manaless (He expends health in place of mana to use abilities, and mana is a pet-peeve of mine, no matter how much it doesn't matter end game.)

But I want to know other Champions I can play aggressive. I want the enemy to poke me, laugh, and then punch them hard, in the face, with a plated gauntlet. I want to dive and they die, in droves. But they have to have SOME survivability, and preferably Manaless (a resource-based system without any kind of dependance on Mana.)

So what Champions are really good for an aggressive player, manaless or otherwise? What Champions can I hold my ground with, what Champions can hit hard, and what Champions can I use to send them PACKING?

If one of these sounds interesting I recommend checking out their champ spotlight video.

Akali Akali is very weak from 1 - 5. Once she gets her ult she is one of the highest bursty assassins in the game. While still a mage (squishy AP reliant) she builds a lot of lifesteal and spellvamp and has a gap closer with very little downtime. (uses energy, not mana!!!)

Darius Lots of damage. Can be built heavy damage or tanky. Even when built tanky you still have an ulty that does a TON of damage. Darius is pretty popular (he uses mana).

Elise Elise is pretty fun champion to play. Very strong but has a very high skill level. You can poke a lot and have very strong all in including a stun and some other stuff. Some people like to build her like a mage and others enjoy building her tanky. She does well either way.

Garen This is what I think you're looking for. Garen has the ability to take a lot of poke and regain his health back (passive) he builds and is naturally tanky and can dish out a shitload of damage if he is fed. After getting poked and poked in lane when you hit level 6 you can basically tower dive. Hit your ultimate and slam their face into the ground with a giant ass sword.

Mordekaiser You already looked at him. Mordekaiser is fun but a bit lack luster. Lots of sustain, basically freezes the lane because his abilities dont have a lot of range.

Pantheon MANTHEON (Pantheon). Super strong levels 1-5. His passive ability blocks an auto attack after 3 auto attacks or a W. He has a stun, an aoe and his ultimate is a giant ass global(ish) teleport where he slams down on someones face and does a bunch of damage. He is VERY fun to play.

Tryndamere Tryndamere can be very aggressive and very not aggressive. He is a fairly hard champion to play but he relies on auto attacks and a rage system. Basically you build a shit load of crit and attack speed and you deal a lot of damage with auto attacks. He has a slow, a spin and a heal and his ultimate keeps you from dying for a few seconds no matter what. He can be really fun to play especially if you like aggression.

Rengar This champ is fun, depends on your playstyle but I recommend checking out rengar. He has a lot of really cool stuff and his ultimate is super fun. He can be really aggressive but if you fall behind with him you're not going to have a fun game.

Hope this helped!

by the way mordekaiser is a good pick he is godly

Akali is an agressive assasin once you hit your 6 wait for your second stack of ult you can all in under theyre turret and burst them down in a quick combo, worst comes to worst flash out but not usually needed, she doesnt have the durability early that your asking for really but make it to 6 without feeding and you can snowball HARD, as for lategame durability and sustain you can itemize to make her tanky AP /spellvamp and she get tons of health back from combos and can burst whole teams down with ease especially at your low lvl of play if you can get her playstyle down you will dominate noobs

No one's mentioned Renekton Renekton yet! He's very very strong right now and is, imo, THE dive champ. He has one the strongest early games and will absolutely chunk if his rage is used correctly.

If you want your damage to be significant throughout the entire game though, try DariusDarius . I also like Using Riven Riven and Shyvana Shyvana to change things up. Try any of these if they're free or if you happen to have some leftover IP, they're fun and always profit from being in your enemy's face.

I would Say RivenRiven is great aggressive champ. she has a shied and dash with her E, stun with W and and great combo with Q and her ult is just flat out awesome. she can get a little technical with how to execute her combo or how to do the animation cancel with her Ult. overall i think she is the best now, since zed got nurfed. watch box box play riven on youtube to learn more.

Mecha Khazix is an amazing champion if you ask me. Not only is his skin incredible if you buy it but the evolutions are even more incredible.

He has some incredible damage pre-six and can be played in Top, Mid, or even jungle. He has great mobility and even better snowballing post level 10 if you upgrade his E.

He does require a lot of skill to play though, and he is an assassin so don't expect to tank. His ultimate can make or break Kha'Zix as well. An amazing escape, engage, and even better to burst somebody down.

For example with Kha'Zix you can simply use your ultimate while Trynd's ult is up, and restealth again to avoid him killing you, then once his ult is down just Q him. :) Hope I helped a little.

Umm. Olaf I def think Olaf would be a great choice for you. I think it's fun to just hit your ult and RUNINTOTHECLOSESTPERSONYOUSEEANDMURDERTHEM. That could just be me, but I'd definitely recommend giving him a try. He's super strong lategame now, with the new changes, and he's getting played by people in Korea, if you want to see some gameplay, I'm sure you could find some.

okay i play top alot and i would recommend Riven she is manaless and is in my opinion the best 1v1 cahmpion. she is also great for team fights with an amazing stun and shield to hlp you protect your ADC. and i also recommend Akali she is weak until lvl 6 but after that she is a force to be reckoned with. has some great chase with her ult. and her stealth is amazing for escaping. plus she uses energy!

I've only just started playing, but so far the character I've found works best for me is WarwickWarwick . I have never once had problems with his mana, partly due to the fact that his skills are all set up so that you kill everything one by one. Q-HP absorb skill, good in a pinch for saving your bacon when you are low. W-Attack speed increase buff, which stacks with any other Attack Speed increase you may have. When combined with his passive, which allows you to absorb HP with each hit, you can damn near take on an epic monster by yourself with the right items. His E skill is actually right down your alley...it's a free self buff that increases your speed when a nearby enemy champ is low on HP. Just make sure you keep it active once you got it...chasing the poor fool down is one of the most satisfying things, lemme tell ya...and his R skill is a teleport-stun that does massive damage to the person he jumps to, as well as absorbs a massive chunk of health when combined with his passive. However, I can't stress this enough. FOCUS ON ATTACK SPEED AND LIFE STEAL ITEMS!!! item 3153 Blade of the Ruined King, item 3124 Guinsoo's Rageblade, item 3046 and Phantom Dancer are good endmatch items to have. By the time you have all three items...it should look like a classic werewolf attack when you go into battle. Plenty of jumping around, mauling a victim, and then moving on to the next, shrugging off all of the damage done to you.

Tanky, good damage over time: Renekton Volibear DrMundo Olaf

These two can poke well too: Olaf DrMundo

These have mana:Volibear Olaf

These don't:DrMundo Renekton Shyvana

Shyvana : tanky, not sure about poke, good damage over time, no mana as said, probably good sustain, probably can tower dive

Good poke, good burst, decent survivability (can dive sometimes):

Diana Jayce

Awesome assassins, fun to play with (but probably not very safe to go HAM with them):

Khazix Leblanc

To win team fights, tanky champs > assassins. Assassins fall off late game. Tanky champs last long in team fights, and they can tank for your damage dealers. They can let your carries destroy their team, or you'll destroy their team while they try to get to your carries.

EpicLunacy11/20/2013, 4:05:59 AM1 votes

yeah I know what you mean my play style sounds like it might be very similar to yours so I would suggest Wukong MonkeyKing Lee Sin LeeSin and Olaf Olaf

Wukong - I main Wukong and he extremely fun I dive a lot with him and its also very fun to mess people up with his W Decoy, He is an AD Caster so he can be very mana heavy depending on how much you poke with him

Olaf - I bought Olaf recently and I played him and Nocturne the entire week Olaf is very scary in a team fight and 1v1 his W gives him crazy life steal and spell vamp and he pokes quite a lot and can be very mana heavy also depending on much you poke

Lee Sin - I do NOT own Lee Sin but I play him when ever he is free he is very fun and his W? (I havent played him in a while) gives him a shield, and if you use it again he gets a lot of life steal and spell vamp he can also kill tanks because his Q does Health% damage and HE JESUS KICKS PEOPLE

good luck I hope you find a good champ and I hope you either get Wukong and juke the crap out of people, get Olaf and say "HAPPY LEIF ERRISON DAY" in chat, or get Lee Sin and JESUS KICK THEM ALL! (yes i do all of this)

BTW RIOT DONT MESS UP ADC TARIC PLEASE DONT CHANGE HIS PASSIVE

There's never any love for Galio Galio...I picked him up a few weeks ago and started climbing the Bronze ladder like a frenzied firefighter. Right now I've got an 80% win rate with him, and I can't imagine level 20 players would stand a chance against him since I'm at least playing seasoned and ranked players.

His huge weakness is early game mana. Even then, against the common AP mids he has no rival that I've met apart from Syndra. His ult is a game-changer and you will send the other team running after you cast it. Survivability is super high and he isn't terribly difficult to learn. He became my instant favorite champion once I got him, and I've been playing LoL for about 4 years now.

KatarinaKatarina , if you play her well you can go godlike. And if you are countered by the enemy, play smart, you must know their cds.
