as new to ryze top this is amazing! i know riot gets alot of flack but ryze is alot of fun to play and again i saw thank you :D

The only thing that you have to consider is, is Ryze fun to play against having only point and click abilities. Thats why they havent buffed him for a long time after his overnerf. I personally enjoy playing Ryze but I can see why he isnt fun to play against at times. His key stat is mana which you get off of mainly defensive items. So he is essentially a battle mage with short cds and a huge speed boost in his ult.

That said, he has a pretty awful Early Game. He starts doing good to great late-game.

thats cause he is ment to be a monster late game cause he gets tanky and tons of mana by then.

Also, I think Ryze should fill in the niche of the anti-assassin, so I'm happy about more health at level 1.

I think there should be a champion like Ryze to stall the lane, as long as there are champions like Zed .

One might argue that stalling and playing passive is not "fun", but, depth-wise, it adds much to a game. Imagine a strategy game when you are forced to advance all your units each turn just because the games says so. Kinda defeats the purpose of "strategy", doesn't it? Now, Riot involves trade and fighting, but I don't think should revolve solely around glass cannons and nukes. A sustained damage mage like Ryze, who can also itemize to be solid against assassins, is something that should be viable in the game , because the game needs that option to be opened if a player feels like he need to take that decision.
