why do people afk when you make ONE bad play

jesus fucking chirst my last game as noc 37 mintues in the guy say's "bye" then afk's. For fuck sake man i never had a game constantly do this to me.

reasons:

poor time management ... some people only have 30 mins to play before they have to do something
already tilted from past games and just needs a better way to deal with stress
trolls are trolls man

You can add to the list: mad at teammates for continually chasing the tank into an unwarded jungle to die 1v3. I'm sure OP left out some details lol.

Once I afkd because jungler smited enemy blue buff just to piss me off because we had a lil conflict about his usefulness early. We lost and I've never felt better about it. There is no other real way to punish these scrubs + i usually loose motivation to play with toxic teams. I want to win, but I don't want them to win because I dunno man I can carry myself but they can't and the fact that I go afk and they start to suck miserably means something lel

All it means is LoL is a team game, and afking ruins a game for everyone involved, not just the person that annoyed you

Then you're immature. I've never intentionally afked even when people throw shit at me. Seriously, you're mad because your jungler took a blue buff? As soon as you leave that game and stop trying, you're just as toxic as the people you consider toxic.

A few games ago I went 12-2 with Katarina while my duo buddy was going 6-0. Meanwhile our Volibear jungler threatened to AFK after we lost a dragon while we were up 2 dragons, 3 towers, and 15 kills. You can't make everyone happy I suppose.

if you are or anyone on your team is directly being toxic towards them, then why wouldn't they leave. all you'r doing is chewing them out and destroying there estem and such. If no1 is being toxic to them, then i have no explanation to as why someone would leave honestly.

Usually it's the one being toxic (flaming) first who then goes AFK.

That doesn't justify the AFK, but you have a point. But then the victim becomes the toxic one too.

People sometimes AFK because they're doing poorly in lane, or because they perceive other people as doing poorly (blaming a jungler for not ganking right when they want to, for example). It's disappointing, because I've had many a game where we started out behind and then won, and also many a game when we started out ahead but lost. AFKing means your team won't comeback.

The reason they do it is because the game makes them so angry that they want you to feel pain, and the best way they can think of to do that is to ensure you lose. The hardest thing sometimes is to suck it up, be the bigger man, sometimes say "my bad", and let them rant and rave. So next time someone is raging because of a play you made-- think "Do I want to win?" or "Do I want to show this guy whos the bigger boss of the internet?". I choose boss of the interwebs.

they do it out of spite. Example: :Jungler didn't gank my lane, so im gonna afk. That will definitely help my team win this match
Very poor time management, why even play an actual match if you have an hour before class/work/etc? You're not only wasting your time but everyone elses.
Other, I've seen people pick their champ wait til the match starts and they stay in the spawn fountain, for what reason? no fucking idea.

Well, sometimes when you make a bad play/mistake that is just flat out retarded people lose all hope.

For example let's say you see a Teemo and you're a Lucian. If you're chasing him and step into 2 shrooms (one after another) and teemo is /laughing at you and you continually chase stepping on shrooms. I'm gonna lose all hope in you for being that stupid and not realizing it's a bait.

Especially if you've played at least 20 ranked games regardless of your elo. Nobody should be that stupid.

That or like someone said you left out details and pushed him into RQing

Because in season 5 there is no comebacks. In seasons 1-4 I could count the total number of surrenders I hit yes to on one hand. I now hit /ff as soon as possible. In all the games I've played in S5 only 2 games have ever come back (once was our team, once was theirs). In S1-S4 there were tons of comebacks, turn arounds, ect... in S5... all of season 5 I have seen two. TWO. And I've been counting.

Season 5 is all about hypercarry's snowballing and uncounter-able right'click'n'win LCS games.

People are just bad,they don't understand when they have to go, for fudge sake, ask your mom how much time you have, if you have about an hour, you can play a game. Also I hate when people just get board mid-way and just leave.
