Teemo Shrooms are now over powered

With oracles now gone, And teemo getting gold now as support, The teemo shrooms are incredibly hard to deal with. they are quite damaging, the slow is horrific and you cannot see them. I strongly suggest placing a limit, or making them visable. Something has to give they are no longer balanced with oracles gone and now also they have no counter play. Period.

Oracles was way too strong a counter to Teemo. Vision wards and the red trinket are just fine counter play, and balanced. Teemo is now viable again, now that he doesn't have a HARD counter. When against a teemo, maybe you will actually have to worry where you step again.

Its called the scanning trinket. You can use it to scan AND DISABLE Teemo Shrooms.

I say bring oracles back.. It's incredibly uneven to play against stealth units.. the only to promote counter play for these champions, WAS oracles and the fact that vision wards were also stealthed. Now champions like rengar and evelyn and twitch have an incredible advantage towards champions that cannot stealth.. There's always something to fight against everything. Barriers and Spellshields to fight against damage and spells, grievious wounds and ignite to fight heals, untargetable spells to make clutch plays, and others.. With the trinket having too long of a cooldown and vision wards being visible and susceptible to being destroyed constantly, Counter play against stealth able champions are too technical. I say raise the ward limit to 4, 2 vision wards per champion, lower the cooldown of the trinket, and make vision invisible again.. oracles was too much riot, too much!! I MISS WARD WARS

honestly an arguement can be made for both sides. It seems to be a balance issue, and I'm sure something will be done to regulate it. While Oracles was WAY too hard of a counter for teemo, Getting rid of it seems to be a huge buff for him. And yes, the scanning trinket DOES help in counter-playing teemo and other stealth reliant champions. You just have to be strategic in how you use it. I'm no pro or anything, but I think that taking out oracles and having the scanning trinket really balances the game out and makes you have to think about how you play against enemy champs. It's a strategy-based team game folks. Gotta play it that way.

There was a bug in S3 too where even with oracles you had to literally walk into the shroom to find it in a bush not just walk within the oracles range.

Teemo <------is now over powered without ORCALES. item 3351 <------and now -------> item 2043 is not a counter to Teemo mushrooms. The pink wards are visible and can be destroyed, the lens does the job, but only to a small area and every 90 sec (180 when upgraded). But that will not help prevent yourself running into countless walls or the annoying mushrooms. Teemo now has way to much game influence and is overwhelming. In all honesty I do not want to play LoL until something is done about this issue that Riot has failed to foresee. In TT we can counter because its a smaller map with 3 items to counter the mushrooms. Something needs to be done otherwise some people just might stop playing summoner rift just because of the mushrooms. This shall become even worse when more and more Teemo players come to realize that THEY CANT BE STOPPED! Riot please balance this issue or just bring back oracles PLEASE.

The problem is a real one that is getting annoying and after reading everyones argument, you all make good valid points. However...

Teemo even before may not have been completely "OP", but he was a very BS style champ that was overly easy and rewarding with his AP ratios. His blinding dart along with his poison apply tons of quick easy damage that can kill a champ with no chances for counter play in a matter of seconds while his movement speed w ability grants at max level a base movement speed of over 400 while activating it makes him close to the 500 mark (Without boots). His mushrooms have always been a nuisance that forced people to purchase the oracles elixir because a smart teemo player can fill up the entire enemy jungle in a matter of minutes with these slowing nukes that burn your HP down in an instant. Without the oracles and even with the trinket that can reveal them, he can still go and place tons of mushrooms surrounding the map with no chance of counter play.

Making a max amount allowed to be placed would balance this out (Though it should not be too low as it is an ultimate that requires someone actually running into it). As it is now, hes a very easy high reward champion that any person can play and nuke the enemy team.

I'd rather they do what they should have done from the beginning before the stealth fiasco, make about 20% of the skills in the game grant visibility of stealth so there was a natural counter, Lux for example could reveal stealth objects with her barrier, and so forth.

Beside that, they could make them visible and force teemo to only plant in brush, or make them difficult to see like traps, or give them low visibility range so you can only see them a moment before you collide with them.

Ultimately though, it is his ultimate too. He relies on his passive and 3 basic skills to operate most of the time, having to lead foes at point blank in order to use a shroom during a confrontation... so it shouldn't be easy to overcome either.
