Ekko, Ap dmg build feels absolutely awful. Especially late game.

I don't want to play ekko as a tank using crowd controls and gap closing. I would like to use him i a damage build, and similar to Aatrox, building damage on him feels absolutely terrible. You are melee for one, do not under any circumstance contain the burst that a ranged or previously release burst assassins have, and you die so quickly without being able to do much of any damage especially if you are alone. I believe one thing the balance team needs to look into is allowing ekko to self retract his q when its fired out. Secondly, lowering his the duration of the stun on his w but increasing his movement speed and the activate of his w stun. I also feel the bonus ap ratio should be increased to compensate an ap build and increase the range of his e slightly if ms is not given back to him. He does not 100 to 0 anyone, once his combo is done his auto attacks do no damage till he gets his passive back on that target. I have played and tried so many different methods to make ap ekko build feel go, but its similar to aatrox again, the champion just feels terrible when you build ap item or in aatrox's case( ad items). Then this goes back to why would you pick this champion when other really cc or tanky fighter champions feel much better to play with far less items.

As it should be, considering his mobility and utility and ultimate.

He is not supposed to burst, he is a skirmisher.

Well, at the moment, he has so much utility for an assassin... I feel like that would have to be nerfed/some utility removed before buffing his damage.

woah woah

ekko is fine as he is, he was never meant to blow people up without landing his ultimate or whittling them down first

That's why you build him ad bruiser.

I played Ekko a while longer, his crowd control is very unreliable and has a load of counter play to it, when he is alone or when he is in a team fight. He also struggles severely at adding meaningful damage compared to just about anyone else in the game except Aatrox. A melee champion who lacks significant damage on top of not being naturally tanky is a poor design. He is unviable in the mid lane.

I agree. Nerf Ekko.
