[Opinion] 3rd Party Add-On Policy @Sargonas et al.

#####The policy:

Add-ons are allowed so long as they only make use of information that is in the API.

#####Why is this policy better?

It allows Riot to dynamically modify their stance towards what information add-ons are allowed to present, without modifying their policy.

My personal view is that timers are ok, but should need to be manually started, because map awareness is skill. Regardless of whether you agree with me about what should be allowed, I hope you'll agree that the API solution is the best solution.

edit for clarification: Currently the API does not allow you to access in-game information - I think it should be expanded so that it does allow you to.
