What rank are you guys? My games typically get drawn out by quite a bit.
League isn't really designed for the shorter games because it just gets too snowbally otherwise. Heroes of The Storm does it much better because it's much easier to catch up.

Doesn't matter. For adc for example the alternative is some biscuits or free gold/borrowing power or some miniscule armor or healing bonuses that can be achieved by the extra ad dmg by lifesteal.
Can you imagine what having another 60+ at 30 minutes for no reason does for crit stacked adcs. Only borrowing gold could come close to its potential boost but it's only temporary. You're trolling if you get something else (for adc off spec slots).

Bronze and Silver elos don't know how to close games. So yes, for around 80-90% of the playerbase at least it'll work.
Not saying games don't last long, it's just that in the majority games I see end at like 20-30 now. First turrets at 4-5 minutes is really fun in league right? Even hots games feel longer than league right now.
someone should do a custom, 2 veigars just playing without ending the game and see when does LoL crash
48-56 minutes(mean) is my average game length IN ANY MODE for matches that are NOT a curbstomp, and the REALLY great matches push closer and closer to 2 hours (4 barons 2-3 elder dragons hotly contested) this season. (Usually gold capped by minute 39 in those matches though, sigh. So an extra source of power for illaoi/veigar/liss is desirable ;)!)
Looking at the new runes system as a whole a match lasting longer than 60 minutes except maybe at new player levels seems very unlikely unless no one on either team has the new siege rune equipped. Aram will likely become 14-22 mins instead of 28-34/45-63 min in the current no surrender no end high tier sportsmanship environment.
Though I am super curious how much this gives at minute 90 and minute 180 (3 hours or so is my longest match lengths to date, intentional NO FINISH lets team fight type deal, though this was back in the honorable opponent days).
Super useful runes on hard item choice champions who can't push more than 400 ad/538 ap in their build path. Very obvious to not take this in aram though. (The aoe combo runes (true damage, burn, comet/electrocute) pushes much more damage before minute 25-30 over this, after minute 35 this wildly exceeds the other options however. And from minute 18 on, on 100%+ so scalers and certain hybrid damage champs).
Curious to see how adaptive works on mixed double 100% +scalers (cough cough all 'tanks' it seems like)
