Why is riot shoving premades down our throat

I was super pissed off when riot decided to make ranked a pre made mess last year. I was annoyed that the star guardian missions required a 5 man. Now I'm starting to question why riot is shoving premades down our throat and up our butts. Either they truly belive I will have more fun playing (which i dont believe) with others or there is some hidden agenda. I think I am capable of decideding how I want to have fun. I feel there is a hidden agenda because riot is a business and while they want thier product to be fun I don't be live they really care about how people experience it without a business decision behind it. So pls if a Rioter could give me an HONEST answer I'd appreciate it. By honest I mean I don't want to here that "we be live its a better experience for everyone blah blah blah...". I want to know the reason behind this.

While I do not agree with it, I believe these missions have a premade requirement because they require a spefic sort of comp and they don't want people raged at or dodging because a teammate won't pick what is needed for the mission.

Because this game is built and balanced around playing as a premade team - aka the LCS. The prize tournaments they're testing (Clash! is what it was called in the PBE announcement) rely on premade teams too.

Solo exists out of necessity, the same way Blind Pick exists. You are suppose to move on to the next step, even if it takes some poking and prodding.

You really want to get an answer or you're just whinning? The answer is extremely obvious.

"team game" It's just better to play with premades for obvious reasons.

Riot wants their players to have friends.

Wow, they really don't understand their own playerbase

It's actually pretty simple. For the past 3-4 seasons riot has been steadily making the game more team focused over individual play. Little things added over time like reducing the amount of exp for getting a kill or gold for getting first blood all the way to the not subtle at all dynamic que.

Riots philosophy is that people will have more fun when playing league with people they know (play together consistently). They probably have the data to back it up.

This philosophy is beneficial for their business. It means more people are going to enjoy it more, get their friends into league, play more, buy more.

There isn't any special reason for this besides: it's a smarter business decision to get people to play as groups than trying to get them to play alone.

Also personally yes the game is more fun when I am playing with friends because a. I know their skill level and what to expect and b. We don't flame each other for mistakes or feeding lanes and if we start losing hard then no one cares and we just move on to the next game.

It's not that bad. That's the one I haven't done yet and I'm only 3 missions away from completing the main line already (no pass). It's 5 tokens. Free wise you can get 220 tokens enough for two big loots. The main line awards an orb too.

They are testing more out of the box thinking kind of missions. In order to avoid compromising the play experience for strategies like going all melee, they want to make it so that the entire team is on-board for it. It's also why the rewards for them are so little (5 tokens), so that if you're not able to do it, it's not that much of a loss.

Because they hate their player base idk

I don't have five friends that play League so I haven't been doing any premade missions
