Why don't Plat get more rewards than Gold and Diamond more than Plat?

Just asking because I've been pondering that for years. Why is this the case? They are both higher The the tiers below them so there really isn't a reason for that to be the case. It is hard to get to both ranks way harder than Gold and should gain at least one or two more rewards than the other. There needs to be more representation of how hard you had to work to get to those. I suppose though that the bragging rights is supposed to be a drrving point too, but i feel it should be more tangent rewards in client. It would make people want to actually try to climb. Is the next season going to fix this?

We get a prettier border/icon and challenger get backpack :)

Because all that does is basically create more frustration for players who don't quite end up where they'd like. I think the fancier border and accompanying bragging rights are more than enough and, if you were to provide anything else, it would have to come in the form of a non-unique reward (such as an IP boost or something). Trust me -- people already want to climb, and that border/bragging rights are pretty strongly desired.
