why is it that even at plat level players still dont understand the definition of "Priority"

Title. If I am taking scuttle and know the enemy is gonna try and fight me for control over it and you as a laner/laners are PUSHED TO to enemy tower, fucking come up and help me so that we can gain vision advantage, dont just sit there twittleing your thumbs farming when you could potentially net a few early kills.
