Does Riot listen to the community anymore?

Honestly lately its felt like Riot doesn't listen much to the community anymore. 40-50 champs sucks. I feel as though Riot keeps trying to pigeonhole us into things that they think will land well but that aren't what the community wants (IE: Legend of the Poro King... again. How many times have we requested One For All back?)

The reason we haven't had OFA is because Riot was busy developing the client- understandable. Then it got put off in favor of Star Guardian Invasion. Nobody asked for that. People asked for OFA.

All along these boards, everyone is disappointed with this Snowdown ARURF. I just want normal Urf back. I want to experience running at 2k movement speed with Jhin, but it feels like it's never going to happen. Even when I land ARURF, ("RANDOM" WITH HEAVY QUOTES) I never seem to get the champ I want(feels the same way that I never get the champ I want on ARAM either, and I play plenty of that). I'm starving for it

But besides that I really feel like Riot isn't listening to us anymore. When it comes to gameplay mechanics it all depends on what drives pro play/LCS and when it comes to in game modes and etc. it all comes down to what makes them the most money, IE: forcing value into these events they spew out at light speed

I don't want to just flame Riot, I just want to be heard and I think I'm not the only one who feels muted.

I would like you to imagine having a game of around over 80 million active monthly players, not every single person is able to be heard it's just a fact.

I agree with you on the fact that Riot keeps on putting things out there that players don't necessarily want, but how is Riot going to make a breakthrough without trying some new things?

When Riot released the first iteration of URF, it was a completely new and fresh take on the game introducing a fun experience for players. Yet can see how Riot would want to try some new things in order to recapture that same feeling that players had when they got to play URF for the very first time, but I can also see the community completely rejecting the idea of new things being introduced into the game when all they want to play are all the old gamemodes. (i.e. classic URF and OFA)

I for one really enjoyed the PROJECT: HUNTERS gamemode while it was playable, not to mention Ascension and Dark Star Singularity to name a few more.

But in the end of it all, Riot is a game company that wants to try and innovate new and fresh experiences into their game, and I am not going to bash them for at least trying something new.
