Why am I matched with silver players if im Platinum in Flex?

  2. Smaller player pool since the majority of people that play rank play solo queue.

Well ranks aren't always a 100% representation of ones MMR. They could be Silver 1 persay, but have gold 4 to 3 MMR, so it's allowing them to end up in some higher Gold and Plat level games.

It was like when Iron was introduced earlier in the year, I got a fresh account that was placed in Iron and yet I was playing in mid gold to plat. So the Rank wasn't reflecting the MMR.
