When are expert bots going to be released?

PvP is fun but most newer players lose for a decent while before they acclimate to the PvP environment. Which means that intermediate bots just aren't preparing newer players well enough. Expert bots would be needed to bridge that gap. If Riot ever does make their expert bots they should have a wider roster to choose from, better last hitting ability, contest objectives such as dragon or baron and utilize their 5th player in the jungler role. It would really help newer players get better acclimated to the PvP environment before actually playing PvP. I just don't know why Riot scrapped making expert bots since naming their second tier bots "intermediate bots" leads one to think that a third level was in the works but never got followed through on.

  1. Riot cares about PvP and pro play (mostly pro play), not co-op.
  2. Riot is bad at designing fair PvE gameplay (viz Odyssey).
  3. Riot can't easily monetize a new co-op difficulty, unlike an avalanche of rehashed skins and skins for popular champions, which are HUGE sellers for their target market (although still not enough to make up for the loss of players who preferred non-kawaii champions, as demonstrated by their reduced revenue this year).

What the bots really need is the ability to path around tower range, and less of a penchant for chasing people around the jungle on their own for 5 minutes.

How to create a more challenging AI without resorting to artificial difficulty and make it something that won't just create bad habits for real games like current bots do?
