I had a novelty account called "Jesus the Lord" and it was changed to "Jesus the Friend" because the original name was considered 'offensive'.... that's why I'm saying; I'm surprised his name hasn't been changed.

Why would it be changed? Is being gay such a bad thing? I can't openly express my admiration of a particular champion and link it to fan fiction lore? My name makes people smile/laugh all the time. I can understand if I named myself "Taric the %%%" or "Taric the Homo" (Both names I am taunted with in all chat btw) as those names are highly offensive but I named myself "Taric the Gay." Short, simple and also a way to positively represent the gay community in this game and the way I behave I don't poorly represent the gay community here. It is my prerogative to express myself this way and I think I did it in a tasteful and creative way. So what's the problem again?

My name is related to the game itself and is in reference to fan fiction which I don't portray myself in a negative manner.

Referencing isn't. Using it as a way to devalue or insult someone is against the rules. I've yet to meet anyone who found my name insulting to them personally. The only hate I get are from people who hate gay people in general, not the ones who say I am poorly representing the gay community.

Why can't you just be happy for the guy for having a creative and amusing username? Out of everyone who posted here you're the only one who seems to think his username needs to be taken from him. And, if I read your responses correctly, you want his name changed simply because Riot denied you from having your own creative username. Just because Riot took away your ice cream doesn't mean you have the right to deny other people from enjoying their ice cream.

There's no confusion here, nor is there any lack of justice. I'm just going to go with what Cactus said about the ice cream here, because it's sounding perfectly applicable.

There's a big difference in naming yourself after one of the most famous religious figures to ever exist, and naming yourself after a fan fiction of a character on a game. Some people will take umbrage to the former; much, much fewer to the latter.

So if your name was not changed then you would have no problem with him naming himself "Taric the Gay?"

If you answered yes, then your disapproval of his name is purely situational and you really don't have a legitimate reason to be complaining about his name.

If you said no and you are offended by his name please explain to us all how his name offends you because it seems everyone is having difficulty following your argument. You haven't spoken about anything that directly relates to why he is offensive in and of himself.

I heard a rumor that Ezreal purposely went with Lux to save Garen from the incest fanfiction. Ezreal may not be straight, but he's a hero regardless, sacrificing his needs for a friend.

Hopefully they'll send Lux to the insane asylum soon, so she cannot bother Ezreal and Garen, thus Ezreal and Taric can be together and Garen will be free from burden. God bless Ezreal for being a true friend to Garen, I'm sure Taric understands.

The order of the champions on that list is not based on time; I'm pretty sure it's alphabetical, but I vaguely recall when both Tristana and Maokai were on that list, and Maokai was below Tristana and came out first.

So Taric could still be coming out next.
