Advice for College D1 League tryouts

Yesterday I was notified that I had passed the first round of cuts for UNC's D1 League team. Attached to the email was a scrimmage schedule for the remaining applicants so we could demonstrate our understand of the game before the next set of cuts. The schedule also provided the usernames of all the players on both my team and the opposing team. Me being curious, I decided to OP.GG all of the players and now I'm nervous... Hear me out, I am a measly Plat 2 ADC main that will now be put up against high diamond and master tier players for 3 scrimmage games. I know these players completely outclass me in almost every aspect of the game, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to how I should go about playing these games?

Should I play late game scaling champs? Should I play extremely passive in lane? Should I sit back and hope my diamond/mater tier teammate will carry me?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Play what you're best at. Don't try to metagame it or whatever, make sure your comfortable with your pick so you can pay attention to the game. High elo players rotate smoothly and you need to pay attention to that. A good bit of high elo isn't crushing lane but rather transitioning throughout the game, so don't be overly afraid of losing early, but also don't get cocky if things are going better than expected.

Ultimately, you passed round 1, they think you've got something. Show them what you've got, don't focus on what others got.
