1000AP Yummi grants 120 AD to Caitlyn while being untargetable. That sounds like a better version of Sona to me.

Q's have absolutely no similarities. Yummis W is nothing like anything Sona has. Shes literally untargetable. Yummis E is a version of Namis heal not Sonas. Technically it would be better than Sonas as it heals and speeds up in one go and has 2 charges. The ults (which I'm assuming your entire argument is based on since none of the other abilities look similar), is multiple waves instead of one, while landing a sona ult reslts in an immidiate stun, she also only gets one shot. Yummi can miss a wave or 2 and still get her root off. But you run into a situation that all abilities that look like this are all the sudden "Sonas"

So to be a "worse version of Sona" you need to at least have a similar kit. Could you argue her ult is a worse version? Maybe, but honestly they are still very different, if it was one wave and rooted, then yes I'm on your side.
