Im so tired of playing against berserker/glacial Olaf's with bloodthirster and every game...
A two star Olaf can wipe out an entire enemy team by himself if he gets lucky with glacial Can this champion please get a nerf?

Thank you for coming to my TED talk

TFT is just a matter of whos busted ass carry deletes whos busted ass carry first.

Like, my 2star Seraphs+Deathcap+Guinsoo Kindred can 1shot Olaf, But if she prioritizes other targets first, and a berserker cleave freezes her....its over right there. my 6/6 Mage Veigar can sit back launching double casted instant death all day, but if that berserker cleave freezes him. GG.

There are SO many completely broken things.

Olaf is such an instawin, it's stupid how he can perma stun every unit with a single hit, either they should nerf Glacial as a whole, or nerf Olaf

Olaf is a nightmare no matter the comp. I watched him tear down a full gold star team as a two star. Glacial proc with beserker cleave needs to be nerfed or make sure glacial can't go to the back. It is honestly complete doodie that three people at once can get frozen. I've started intentionally buying olafs just to drag them out of the pool. (It's a theory me and friend have. Make sure us feel better even if I think isn't true.) I only know of a two star Ashe to stop him or 3 morellos and pray and you can't rely on Morellos because it's chance there too and Ashe barely shows up.

Or deny Rageblade or BT on him.

other origins need a boost so when they show in your shop you can actually consider them.

Nerfing Glacial is not a solution because right now Glacial shine due to Olaf.

Hmm... nerfing Olaf again could leads to not peak him any more because he already depends on those items that are not easy to get. Will be like Shyvana, after 2 nerf I saw her very rare.

Remember, Olaf is OP because of those items.

Remove glacial from him and he will be OK.

OK, can I retreat my words when I said Olaf is not OP ? I just saw two players with glacial Olaf perma stun us all. We could nothing to do. It's clear to me now that Olaf shouldn't be Glacial. You need luck to focus him first.

Waiting from RIOT to do something about this.

Nerf Glacial, not Olaf. Or, preferably, both. But Glacial needs it more. Riot still doesn't seem to understand how AS interacts with on-hit chance.

. . .

Just for fun, Lets look at a 2 glacial, 2-star Olaf with no items, since he's the most complained about (And has internal AS scaling with Ragnarok that we can use to demonstrate AS's impact).

Olaf AS: 0.85 -> 1.7 / 2.215 / 3.4

20% chance to stun for 1.5 seconds at 2.215 attacks per second ; convert to 3.3225 attacks per 1.5 seconds. So 3 attacks gives a 1 - [(0.8)^3] = 0.488.

So an ulting Olaf with No items has an almost 49% chance to stun a target again before the previous stun ends.

  • A 4 glacial, 2-star Olaf would have a 35% chance to stun on-hit, giving him an {1 - [(0.65)^3] = 0.725375} approximately 73% chance to re-stun.
  • A 6 glacial 2-star Olaf with 50% proc chance will have a re-stun chance of {1 - [(0.5)^3] = 0.875} almost 88%.
  • A 2-glacial, 3 star Olaf (Good luck) with 5.1 attacks per 1.5 seconds would have an {1 - [(0.8)^5] = 0.67232} approximately 67% chance to re-stun a target.
  • A 4 glacial, 3-star Olafwill have a re-stun chance of {1 - [(0.65)^5] = 0.8839709375‬} about 88%.
  • Heaven forbid, you get 6 glacial 3-star olaf {1 - [(0.5)^5] = 0.96875}. Almost 97% chance they will never move.

Olaf can delete entire teams by himself...if he gets super lucky Glacial procs, and the correct items.

Poison can also keep him from ulting for a long time, Predator kills him before he can ult, especially Poison/Predator (a large part of why Poison/Pred is meta right now) Mages can essentially just straight up delete him unless someone gives him dragon claw, and unless he has both Rageblade AND BT, a good Blademaster or Light comp can outduel him ez pz. And of course, even with Rageblade/BT/DClaw, a good assassin team at that point is still gonna crit him twice and end him.

The thing that needs the biggest nerf in all of TFT right now is Veigar - tier 3 Veigar deletes entire teams on his own, and doesn't really even require good items. Just 6 mages. Which you're gonna have anyway if you're running him, and you'll probably also have at least 2 shadow bonus so even on other Tier 3 units he'll hit like a train.

I played Olaf a lot. With only BT has low chance to survive. He needs 3 specific items to shine: BT, Rageblade and PD. Even with these items he can be shut down by magic damage.

In team Kha'zix with only Infinity and BT is much more powerful then Olaf, but not in 1 vs 1 against Olaf.

Clear that Olaf is the best in 1 vs 1 fight. It's normal to exist such a unit. The problem appear when 2 units can't beat one (all units are the same level and have the same number of right items).

Olaf shouldn't be glacial.
