Why does Yasuo instantly get compensation buffs and passive rework

So many other champions faced the same fate, where they got nerfed and left useless like aatrox, wukong passive, lissandra passive etc

It shows a clear Bias. Idk what CT did to be Riots golden boy but damn did it work. Yasuo has so much little titbits that added together make him really boring to lane against. Hypermobile, annoying short cd poke and sustainability with new runes that heal for everything and shielding passive and windwall that can block any projectile.

It's as if they cramped his champion design with the coolest design mechanics, and it just didnt work. Cos either he's nerfed to be useless or buffed to be unstoppable.

I think he should remain the way he is, and his mains simply have to deal with it. Other champ mains have why cant they? I just hate the bias.

Yasuo is very popular and sells a lot of skins. Other champs can sit and wait for 2-3 years in the dumpster.

Because Wukong, Aatrox, and Lissandra, despite having a similar passive to a rune or item, don't have said rune/item as core on them, and, if I'm correct, none of them were at 41% winrate...Actually, Lissandra's winrate is 49.77%, Aatrox is at 50.46%, and Wukong is at 52.27%. Yeah. They hardly need hotfixes.

They're fine. Yasuo being at 41% is not fine.

How was Aatrox affected by the Marksman Items changes unless I'm just not seeing it right? Aatrox built crit? Or are you just saying in general? Are you comparing the small as hell Yasuo hotfix buffs to Aatrox's mini rework?

losing yasuo players is losing a huge source of free RP sales

heck, everyone i know owns at least one yasuo skin, even if they don't often play him, just because he's so fun

Because Yasuo's kit is one of the most fun to play, and currently the standard to which champions are balanced for skill expression. The theory being that Yasuo (and Ryze, others?) when balanced properly should be able to win every 1v1 when played perfectly. If you play less than perfect then you will have a lower than 50% win rate (hence low win rate on champions like Ryze and Yasuo). So that's why Yasuo needs to be balanced immediately because he is how Riot balances every other champion... If Yasuo is losing to champions even when played perfectly (hard to do btw) then that's why he requires an immediate rework/adjustment

Whereas Aatrox kit is about as fine as it will ever be right now. His revive passive automatically disqualifies himself from being considered the bar to set a 1v1 champion Wukong is one of the most braindead champions in the game. How can you possibly balance this champion for skill expression? There's no point in putting any effort into balancing this kit Lissandra would be nice to be meta, but her kit is so strong that she's either beyond broken (like Irelia is now) or slightly too weak to be meta

Remember when jg changes happened and nid got gutted simultaneously?? No compensation buffs. Remember when that happened to elise and she is STILL shit, but thats okay theyre giving her some mov speed that should fix it. Remember when the meta shifted and syndra didnt see above 50% for a whole season? (Remind yourselves that she hasen't had a good wr in more than several patches) Remember when adc meta shifted and ashe was left in the garbage? Remember when fiddlesticks was an okay jungler but then he got dumpstered repeatedly and now not only is he a better support** But he is also lower wr than taliyah jg. T a l i y a h j u n g l e is doing better.. But oh no yas items are just A BIT more expensive and suddenly "oh no our child! Here have another passive and here have a skin too while we are at it!"

I don't get why they have to change his passive... The new IE just means he doesn't have to build it anymore and can focus on other items instead... I get that his passive makes his crits weaker but couldn't they just tune that number based on the fact you can't increase crit damage with an item anymore? No need to rework it all together...

But if they are going to rework it, I would prefer the shield be moved onto W and increase his decision making load by making the windwall cost flow or something.

I'm not a Yasuo main but I have to disagree. I don't think any champion should be left in the trash. Having champions in the trash is wrong, but that doesn't mean we need to degrade to an "eye for an eye" system where every champion that receives change is dumpstered.
