What are the reasons other's think that Mordekaiser is in such a horrible state.

I'd like to know why everyone thinks that Mordekaiser is in such a bad state right now ( particularly MaliciousMetal ) . I mean I know he isn't in the best of spots but as someone who has played all Iterations of Mordekaiser I've been performing the best on this current Iteration as a mid/top lane player especially since the AP Items got semi-reworked. Also by current Iteration I mean the live version right now not the post version where they tried forcing him into a bot laner and they had to change him so he could solo lane again. For example he maybe the lowest play/ban rate but he is also the number one win rate top at 54% in Plat+ and when you get into bronze elo, which yes i'm a bronze plebian it's pretty much a clown fiesta where even that being the case he has a 48.80% win rate which isn't even all that bad all things considering. The Ap item overhaul helped him out. His ult now feels like it does damage (after 2 complete items) where as before it felt like it did nothing that's without Second wind effectively nullifying it's effects completely.

Also. I'm pretty sure you misunderstand I'll explain the state of Mordekaiser to you as far as I see it.

I don't play Mordekaiser because I enjoy playing him I play Mordekaiser because fuck riot for destroying the best Champion they had, all for an experiment and then leaving him to rot for 3 years. I play Mordekaiser because I want to remind Riot of thier mistake so they don't make it again.
Waiting for a VGU that may never come because everyone else is just more popular is part of the depression of being a Morde Main

Also I remember when the player base average played was over 80. Riots Neglect has killed his player base

He is a very weird champ. Most people do not even know how to play him or against him. In high elo he is probably just picked to counter Ryze, Riven, Kennen, Fizz, and Akali; who are also not played very much. That is probably why his wr goes up so steeply. He is not good against teams that have good kit but he is great WITH teams that have champs like Yorick, Anivia, Trundle that make walls and champ that slow a lot.
