why play Karma?

she doesn't do anything unique, nor is she really good at the non-unique things she does.

Over the years they kept taking away things that made her fun. When Karma received her VGU they took away almost everything the real fans liked. Now she has a kit that is all over the place and she is just a mess. I don't care what anyone says, Karma is a mess and not fun to play as and against.

She can be a nuisance when she wants to be. Which I think is the point of her kit.

She has better poke than other shield supports and better shield/support than other mage supports.

To be an annoying piece of shit and tilt the enemy divers. She moves at the speed of light and self heals for at least 20k every time she casts rw.

She is awesome Mid/Top flex to play against divers

For her lore? Why else would someone play a champ? (RIP Varus)

When it comes to being a damage-focused utility mage you could compare Karma to Orianna, but then you realized how outclassed Karma is compared to her. (heck even their shield's are near even in strengths, Karma's base shield is slightly lower, but the scaling is slightly higher.) For example, looking at Orianna; she's got more effective range, AOE CC, better damage (both consistent and burst), bonus magic damage on auto's and defensive buffs while Karma has. . .I guess a self heal that falls off super hard if you don't build HP, and an multi-man shield on her.

If you want to play her support, don't. She's one of the lowest win-rate supports right now. The only champs lower aren't actual support champions. It's the same as last season after all the nerfs. http://na.op.gg/champion/statistics

Then top lane tank Karma is basically Vladimir with more healing (yes MORE healing), a root, and less damage and honestly that's about it, they both have movespeed buffs, slows, AOE damage, etc...

She's been one of the weaker champs since the tail end of season 7, but riot has been hesitant to buff her because A: Tank karma exists top lane, and B: New runes where coming, and they weren't sure if Karma would end up OP, which is fair tbh. She had a slight spike in power with the release of new runes, but that's exclusively because summon Aery was overtuned.

Now I'm not an old Karma fan, (kek), but I do think old Karma was more unique than Karma is today. I'm not saying old karma is better because I think even the long term fans (kek x2) know her old kit was weird. But the fact is that karma was one of riots earliest VGU's, and it shows. It wasn't a complete failure, but they coulda done better. Like if Warwick rework was a 100/100, Karma was around a 72/100.

She does tons of dmg on ur ult Q and the range is long af. her shiled/ms boost is annoying and so is her root and heal. utter bullshit champ. i love her:D

Thing I liked about Karma after the rework, was how she can kick the snot out of the other Ionian champs if you got a good understanding of how her kit works.

Enemy champ come a callin'? cast W, E and stay out of range until your root locks em. Apply R-Q and then hit Ctrl-4 and repeat as needed.
