It doesn't bother me if its in a free to play game and those boxes/microtransactions don't affect gameplay.

Seriously though micro-transactions are a great thing that has gotten a bad reputation because in other video games it has been implemented poorly as a way to make the game pay to win. This is not a pay to win game, it's not even a pay to play game. It's 100% free to play and pay to look different game (not always look better either.) In this context there is absolutely not a damn thing wrong with micro-transactions. If MTX wasn't in LoL the game would not have made it this far. It'd have had to been made subscription based like World of Warcraft and would have died long ago from lack of players. It'd be a lot easier to really quit playing after a tilter if it also meant saving money each month. Lootboxes are scummy and should finally be outlawed but it hasn't happened yet. Until then just don't buy them. No big deal. Making an inflammatory forum post to get reactions isn't helpful. And to the trolls saying shit like bronzies shouldn't talk back to diamonds are what's wrong with the game. Clearly narcissistic in thinking that your ability to play the game a lot in ranked and climb also means you have the right to shut down discussion. Just dumb really.
