That's not due to anti-cheat. When you right-click on a taskbar item and then left-click on the program name, Windows attempts to spawn another instance of the process the program is running. You can't run two instances of League of Legends at the same time. This is not an expected use-case for the software and it crashes.
Yes, they should fix this, but this is not anti-cheat software whatsoever.
