Is this true for every game similar to League of Legends?

No one seems to be satisfied with the meta, no matter what the meta may be.

I just saw a whiney post on Gameplay about wanting "supports" back. I'm pretty sure he was talking about champions like Thresh, Janna, and Lulu. But when enchanters were still a thing, everyone whined about them.

I know a bunch of people may have different opinions, but personally, I'd say these useless posts clutter up the boards for no reason.

No one will be happy with the meta. Period.

If it does somehow get into a balanced state, then someone will be upset that they can't oneshot this champion either because: they themselves don't do enough damage (even when they are two levels behind), the enemy champion is too tanky, the enemy champion moves too fast, or the enemy champion has shields. And the list goes on.

The devs have made themselves a pleasant mess that should keep them employed for a good long while - well, until players wise up and realize that the complexity added with each successive champ will invariably cause the game to be well beyond the happy "slightly unbalanced" state.

To be honest, the lack of balance in the game is how the devs manage to keep some interest in a game which is pretty dull under its surface (when you actually stop to think about it).

No meta is perfect, however,a 10-second team fight which ultimately is decided by whoever can one shot who first, is sad to me.
