How come you lose more LP then you gain?

How come a losing match is suddenly worth more LP then a match you win? Please help me follow Riots logic.

Currently, there are some bugs with the recently released Ranking system that may be affecting LP gain/loss. You can view the bugs and their updates through this post by SapMagic.

I confirmed with some other people that Riot did not change anyone's MMR and this is a direct cause of a bug with the removal of the fifth division of each rank.

This occurs when your skill level over recent games has fallen significantly below your current rank and MMR. Your gain/loss will even back out either when your skill improves back up or your rank and MMR decrease to your current skill.

Pre-season ranked changes fucked over a lot of people's MMR so lp gains aren't where they should be for everyone.

Ya i went from losing like 13lp to like 19. I dont really mind though i still win more then i lose
